Kathmandu University (KU) has officially announced a call for applications for Japanese Language Teachers to support its expanding Technical Japanese Language program.
The initiative follows the recent renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the university and the Association for Nepal Synapse Self-Reliance Support in Japan (ANSSSJ). The program, formally known as the FORDAYS Japanese Language Class, is a strategic effort to equip KU students with the linguistic and cultural skills necessary to excel in the global arena—specifically within the sectors of Japanese technology, art, and society.

Job Description:
The person shall be responsible to:
- Assist in the curriculum development of the Japanese Language course at KU
- Assist the class with the Japanese language teacher through online and in-person
- Coordinate between students and the Japanese language teacher
- Conduct the tests and assist in the evaluation process
- Administration work related to the Japanese Language course
Qualification:
(S)He has passed N1 or N2 level, JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). If possible, the candidates used the textbook & Minnano Nihongo (Everyone's Japanese) to study Japanese.
