Shree Tanglichok Secondary School is located in Gandaki Rural Municipality–2, Patiswara, Gorkha, and offers education up to the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) level. Established in 2010 B.S. with the active participation of former Indian soldiers, the school is regarded as one of the oldest educational institutions in the region. It was initially founded as Chandrodaya Pvt. V. and later renamed Tanglichok Pvt. V. in 2021 B.S., operating as a private institution until 2063 B.S. In the absence of a secondary school in the area, educational development remained limited for many years. From 2064 B.S., the collective efforts of local intellectuals, social workers, and education advocates supported the school's gradual academic expansion. By 2068 B.S., the school was included in the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination system.
Since 2073 B.S., Shree Tanglichok Secondary School has been running an 18-month Pre-Diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science) under the Technical Education in Community School (TECS) program, affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). The school emphasizes practical-based teaching, supported by computer labs and 24-hour internet access. Agricultural education includes hands-on training, field visits, and the use of a well-equipped agricultural laboratory.
Students actively participate in municipal-level football and volleyball competitions, as well as cultural and literary activities such as Friday programs, speech contests, quizzes, and art sessions. The school also conducts health and wellness programs, provides student support services, maintains basic infrastructure, and manages a library with educational and sports resources.
