ABOUT

Regent Residential School is a child-centered social institution established in 2010 (2067 B.S.) to empower children to become responsible and capable citizens for the nation and the world.

Starting Pre-School and Grade I in the very first year, the school has a provision and commitment to a global standard high school education. The school has upgraded its academic standard up to Grade X for the academic year 2076 (2019-20). The school, with two blocks in two nearest locations, is a perfect home where every child is well-cared, loved and treated as dearer ones.

It treats children from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds with respect and dignity and encourages them to treat each other with the same respect and love. We honor the creativity and curiosity of children and guide them to be self-dependent. All the students here are nurtured to become intellectual, self-disciplined, socially skillful, practical, compassionate, and proactive citizens.

Salient Features

The school applies Montessori teaching methods in the preschool. It has well-trained and experienced professional teachers who have a commanding knowledge of progressive teaching pedagogy for Basic & Secondary education. Its well-equipped Labs, library, and play stations are very attractive and highly helpful for the children’s physical and mental development.

English is the primary medium of instruction in the school, and all the children are taught to communicate fluently in English and Nepali. Likewise, Chinese is a compulsory language for all students to learn. Plus, occasionally, we organize language labs for German and French languages by native speakers.

Preschool teachers in Montessori are also well-trained and experienced, and they have a commanding knowledge of early childhood education. The teachers of basic and secondary schools are trained by reputed teachers in training centers.

International Affiliation

The school is committed to maintaining “Global Educational Standards”. It thrives in bringing the world into our classroom and school community, where each student gets to know the world closer. It has established sister school relationships with schools in the UK, USA, Germany, France, China, Australia, etc., through which it does various cross-cultural activities and student-teacher exchange programs.
