Nilakantha Polytechnic Institute

Nilakantha Polytechnic Institute (NPI) is a constituent school of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), established in 2022 A.D. (2079 B.S.) in Nilakantha Municipality-4, Dhading. Guided by the motto “Enlightenment through Technical Education,” NPI is committed to delivering quality technical education that blends tradition with modernity.

Spread across 13 ropani of land, the institute currently offers two long-term diploma programs: Diploma in Civil Engineering (specialized in Hydropower) and Diploma in Automobile Engineering—both three-year courses designed to meet the growing demands of industry and government sectors. With future plans to introduce PCL-level health programs and various vocational training courses based on community needs, NPI strives to produce skilled, innovative, and responsible TVET graduates.
