Nayagaun Secondary School is a community-based, co-educational day school situated in Ward No. 12, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Rupandehi District, Lumbini Province, Nepal. Founded in 2019 B.S. (1962 A.D.), it stands as one of the longstanding educational institutions in the region, committed to fostering a passion for learning among local students from ECD to Grade 12.
Nayagaun Secondary School received approval to operate as a primary school in 2024 B.S., as a lower secondary school in 2032 B.S., and as a secondary school in 2052 B.S. Since 2065 B.S., the school has been running +2 (higher secondary) classes, with courses available in the Management, Education and Law faculties. As of academic year 2081/82, the school enrolls over 1400 students.
Responding to the evolving needs of the community and parents, and recognizing the importance of timely and relevant education, Nayagaun Secondary School has been delivering full English-medium instruction from Nursery to Grade 5 since the academic year 2071 B.S. (2014/2015 A.D.). From Grade 6 onward, classes are conducted in both English and Nepali mediums to accommodate diverse learning preferences. This strategic approach has earned the school widespread trust and confidence from parents and the local community.
