Shree Mahalaxmi Secondary School Lalitpur

Mahalaxmi Secondary School is situated in Nakhipot, Lalitpur. Affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB), the school also received affiliation from the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

Established in 2037 B.S. by Padma Shamsher during the Rana regime, Shree Mahalaxmi Higher Secondary School is one of the oldest schools in the Lalitpur district. Initially named Mahalaxmi Padma Vidhyashram, it was renamed Mahalaxmi Primary School following the restoration of democracy in 1951 AD. The institution was upgraded to a high school in 1966 AD and, in 2004 AD, became affiliated with the Higher Secondary Education Board.
