About Us

Lumbini Gyan Niketan Secondary School was established in 2046 B.S. and has built a strong academic legacy of more than three decades. The school is located in Lumbini Province, Rupandehi District, Kanchan Rural Municipality Ward No. 5, Gargare, approximately 35 kilometers from Butwal. It holds a unique position as the only community school in Kanchan Rural Municipality that offers a Science stream.

The school provides education from Nursery to Grade 12, with Plus Two programs available in Science, Management, and Education. It is recognized as one of the leading educational institutions in the rural municipality, serving students from Rupandehi as well as neighboring districts such as Kapilvastu, Gulmi, Palpa, Baglung, and Arghakhanchi. To meet diverse learning needs, the school operates both English-medium and Nepali-medium classes in a parallel system.
