ABOUT

Geetanjali School/College is a well-established educational institution that has been serving the academic needs of students since 2043 B.S. (1986 A.D.). Named after Geetanjali, the Nobel Prize-winning literary masterpiece by Rabindranath Tagore, the institution stands as a symbol of meaningful learning, creativity, and academic excellence.

What began as a small school with classes up to Grade Five has now grown into a full-fledged co-educational institution, offering education from Play Group to the Bachelor's level under one academic umbrella. Over the decades, Geetanjali has expanded its academic programs with care and vision, introducing SLC-level education in 2059 B.S., +2 programs in 2062 B.S., and Bachelor's level courses in 2065 B.S., with a focus on Business Studies (BBA).

The pre-primary section at Geetanjali is designed with the belief that early childhood is the most important stage for learning and development. Children from ages 0 to 5 engage in playful, meaningful activities that include songs, colors, games, numbers, and storytelling. These early experiences help them build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and emotional intelligence. The environment is child-friendly, safe, and nurturing, allowing young learners to explore, express, and grow with confidence.

As students move forward, they are supported by structured academics and a wide range of subject options in the +2 level, including Hotel Management, Law, Computer Science, Sociology, Tourism, Mass Communication, and more. These courses are designed to develop both academic knowledge and practical skills, preparing students for further studies and diverse career paths.

At the Bachelor's level, Geetanjali offers a focused program in Business Studies, aimed at equipping students with theoretical insight and applied knowledge in commerce, entrepreneurship, and management.

Beyond academics, Geetanjali provides a well-rounded learning environment with modern facilities, including a library, science and computer labs, hotel management lab, music lab, auditorium, and digital classrooms. The school also encourages physical well-being and extracurricular growth through a spacious playground, sports courts, and regular ECA/CCA activities. Safety and care are ensured through CCTV surveillance, transportation services, and a warm, supportive community.
