ABOUT

Galaxy Secondary School ( GSS ) is an independent, coeducational, and privately endowed school that offers quality education to students, and is located in a safe and secured environment for qualitative learning. The school has maintained high quality performance in it's educational standard, and has achieved several national and regional awards and honors.

The school expanded its curriculum to include +2 courses in Management in 2064 BS and in Science in 2069 BS. The students who successfully passed grade 12 from GSS, perform exceptionally well in competitive exams conducted by several universities.

Galaxy Secondary School also ensures a complete and unique educational experience for the student, preparing him/her for a successful life in the contemporary society.

Admission Guidelines

Eligibility Criteria:

Science Stream ( +2 )

Students must have secured at least 2.7 GPA in aggregate in SEE with minimum grade C+ in science, English and Math and D+ in social studies.

Management Stream ( + 2 )

Students musthave secured at least 2.7 GPA in aggregate in SEE with minimum grade C+ in science, English and Math and D+ in social studies.

If the following requirements are met, the student must take a written entrance test lasting 1.5 hours, consisting of multiple-choice questions. After the written exams, the students must take the Student Appraisal Test , which focuses on students aim, expectation from school and their endurance. The students can successfully be the new students of the school after passing these examinations.

1. The school provides 100% scholarship in tuition fees to entrance toppers of each stream, Science and Management.

2. The school provides 100% scholarship in tuition fees to the terminal exam toppers, one each from science and management streams.

3. The school also awards a meritorious scholarship of Rs. 10,000/- to one student each from the Science and Management streams, who secures the highest grade in the final exam of the year, provided that the student has a minimum GPA of 3.7 for Science and 3.6 for Management.

Note:

All the students, who have been awarded with scholarship, must pass all terminal exams conducted by the school and board exam conducted by NEB. Those, who fail in those exams, are charged the full tuition fee thereafter.
