Basu Secondary School

Basu Secondary School is a leading public school in Bhaktapur and is located in Kalighat, Byasi-10, Bhaktapur. This secondary school is affiliated with National Examination Board ( NEB) and offers plus two (10+2) programs. The school is also offering Diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science) with affiliation from CTEVT.

It was established with primary-level classes in 2019 BS. The first batch of students appeared at SLC in 2044 BS with merely six students. In 2067 SLC, a contingent of 137 students appeared in SLC examinations from this school.

From the academic year 2061, the school has started 10+2 programs in Science, Management streams and added Humanities stream since 2062. There are more than 900 students in class 11 and 12 and 1075 students from class nursery to class 10 in the academic year 2068.
