Bal Bikas Boarding High School

Bal Bikas Boarding High School, located in Budhanilkantha-3, Kathmandu, Nepal, was established in 2051 BS. It was established by Shanker Das Shrestha, the social worker, and Brahmadev Shrestha, the then vice-principal of Shree Ganesh Secondary School.

This is a school where students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, religions, castes, and classes study and receive quality education without any discrimination. To meet the demands of contemporary education and stay updated on the curriculum, it places a strong emphasis on teacher training. As an English medium school, every subject is taught in English; however, it also values the Nepali language. Additionally, the school has been offering free Chinese language classes for the past three years. Our language, culture, moral values, music, dance, and more are our assets.

Scholarship Programme

The school welcomes students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, cultures, religions, castes, and classes. It believes in education for all and asserts that no one should be deprived of their education rights. Although the school offers an affordable fee structure to make education accessible to everyone, it also provides full and partial scholarships to economically disadvantaged, helpless, destitute, and diligent students based on their financial situations. In this way, the school encourages and motivates students to persist in their studies and strive for further success. The school takes pride in the achievements of scholarship recipients. As it does every year, the school is committed to continuing the scholarship program this year as well. There are specific criteria for the scholarship program: students who meet these requirements will receive scholarships for their studies. Additionally, students who place first, second, and third in their classes are awarded scholarships of 100 percent, 50 percent, and 25 percent, respectively.
