The AMDA Institute of Health Sciences (AIHS), established in 2023 by AMDA Nepal, represents a significant stride in healthcare education. Operating as a non-profit organization and approved by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), AIHS is strategically aligned with the Siddhartha Children & Women Hospital, a testament to collaborative Public-Private Partnerships since its inception in November 1998.

AMDA Nepal, a chapter of AMDA-International, Japan, has been a pivotal force in advancing healthcare in Nepal since its establishment in 1989. It is committed to humanitarian, non-profit initiatives, with a mission to enhance the health and well-being of underprivileged and marginalized individuals. This dedication to improving the quality of life underpins the broader vision of "Global Peace and Development" and the slogan "Better Quality of Life for Better Future Global Partnership for Sustainable Peace." AIHS's philosophy centers on empowering individuals and communities through education, research, and healthcare practices to contribute to building a better Nepal.

AIHS is dedicated to producing middle-level health professionals. It offers three distinct programs, each with an annual intake of 40 students:

PCL Nursing
Diploma in Pharmacy
Diploma in General Medicine (Health Assistant)

AIHS is formally affiliated with CTEVT and holds accreditation from key regulatory bodies, including the Nepal Nursing Council, Nepal Health Professional Council, and Nepal Pharmacy Council, ensuring the recognition and quality of its programs.
