The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has invited applications from eligible Nepali students for the Chinese Government Transportation Scholarship for the Master’s level program in Artificial Intelligence.
Chinese Government Transportation Scholarship is a full scholarship program which is set up between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport, the People's Republic of China, to recruit excellent talents in the transportation industry overall the world.
According to a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ref. No. NEA/8402 dated 2082/12/24, corresponding to April 7, 2026), Nepal has been requested to nominate two students for this scholarship. In response, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has decided to open applications as per Rule 10(a) of the Scholarship Regulations, 2060.
A total of two seats are available under this scholarship, out of which, one seat is open for all eligible candidates, while one seat is reserved for female candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or
- Obtained a valid Entrance Result/ Score Card for the MSc Electronics and Computer (EC) Cluster from the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University, Pulchowk Campus.
