Chay-Ya Nepal, a prominent non-profit dedicated to rural development, has officially opened applications for its Thesis Research Grant program for the academic year 2082/2083. The program aims to provide financial support to Master’s level students conducting high-impact research in critical sectors.
Chay-Ya Nepal has been working since its inception in partnership with rural communities in Nepal in sectors such as Education, Basic Health Services, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Environmental Protection, Entrepreneurship Development, and Immediate Humanitarian Relief. To promote qualitative and practical research based on the organization's thematic priorities, this notice has been published to provide thesis research grants to students currently enrolled in a Master's program.
Subject Areas
Research proposals must be based on one or more of the following thematic areas:
- Climate Change, Environment, and Disaster Risk Reduction.
- Agriculture, Livelihoods, and Climate-Friendly Agriculture.
- Gender Equality, Social Inclusion, and Women's Empowerment.
- Green Enterprises, Cooperatives, and Value Chain Development.
- Digital Innovation and Information Communication Technology (ICT) in Education, Health, and Agriculture.
