Premier International IB Continuum School recorded title wins in both football and basketball at two major inter-school tournaments. The football team won the Nepal Inter-School Sports Association (NISSA) League Football 2026, while the basketball team emerged as undefeated champions of the 12th Xavier International U-19 Basketball Tournament.
In football, Premier defeated The British School 2β0 in the semi-final and beat GEMS in the final after a 1β1 draw, winning 5β4 in a penalty shootout. Rejish Neupane (IBDP 2) was named Best Player of the Tournament for his performance as a goalkeeper.
The football squad included Shyameer Shrestha (Captain, IBDP 2), Rejish Neupane (IBDP 2), and Shyaum Shrestha (IBDP 2); Nirvik Thapa, Prabesh Tamang, Drishya Ratna Shakya, Nishad Sitaula, Ishan Gauchan, and Rishit Mainali (all NEB 12); Tenzing Dawoe Lama and Aryak Karki (IBDP 1); Oliver Karki, Aarjal Adhikari, and Aarush Karki (NEB 11); Sankalpa Pokharel (Grade 10); Abim Roka Magar and Noah Rai (MYP 4); and Arzu T. Rajbhandari (MYP 3). The team was coached by Suraj Maharjan, Sanjay Shrestha, and Sugat Shrestha.
In basketball, Premier won all its matches in the 12th Xavier International U-19 Basketball Tournament. The team recorded wins against Golden Gate College (46β44), Divya College (70β21), and Xavier B (91β18) in the league stage, followed by Times College (53β11) in the quarter-final, Xavier (73β61) in the semi-final, and BKSP, Bangladesh (67β43) in the final.
The basketball team included Dawa T. Lama Tamang, Pranaya Man Shrestha, Pratham Shrestha, Jyotshan Joshi, and Adamya Maharjan (all NEB 12); Ashwin Chalise and Supreme Maharjan (IBDP 1); Sayugya Mahat (NEB 11); and Kai Yoshi Prajapati (Grade 9). The team was coached by Sadhish Pradhan, Captain of the Nepali National Menβs Basketball Team.
