A total of 110 students from seven religious schools in Chitwan district are set to participate in the upcoming Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
According to the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Chitwan, students from 244 schools across the district will appear in the SEE this year. This includes 124 community schools, 113 institutional schools, and seven religious schools. The examination is scheduled to begin on Chaitra 19, 2082.
This year, 10 students from Shreeram Vaidik Sanskrit Gurukulam in Ratnanagar, 14 from Gayatri Veda Vidya Gurukulam in Ratnanagar, 7 from Baikunthanath Paramabaidik Bidhya Pratisthanam Gurukulam in Bharatpur, and 10 from Shree Paramananda Smriti Baidik Bidya Bhawan Gurukul in Bharatpur will participate in the regular examination. Similarly, 11 students from Gargi Kanya Gurukulam in Devghat, 10 from Yogee Narharinath Sanskrit Gurukulam in Devghat, and 11 from Sitaram Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidyalaya in Devghat will participate.
Laxman Devkota, Head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Chitwan, stated that a total of 12,349 students from 244 schools will participate in the SEE. Out of these, 10,500 are regular students, while 1,849 are appearing for grade increment. The breakdown of participants includes 344 students from the technical stream, 110 from religious schools, 3 visually impaired students, and 8 hearing-impaired students.
The examinations will be conducted at 42 designated centers across the district; 34 in community schools and 8 in institutional schools. Devkota added that preparations for the smooth conduct of the examination are underway, following the appointment of center heads.
