The National Examination Board has announced that it will evaluate the answer sheets for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at the respective exam centers. This decision is part of a new plan to publish results within one month.

Following the appointment of Sasmita Pokharel as the Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, instructions were issued to ensure that SEE results are released within a month. "The ministry has directed that results be published within one month. Therefore, we have decided to conduct the evaluation of answer sheets at the exam centers," said Tukaraj Adhikari, the SEE Examination Controller.

If an exam center lacks qualified teachers or is deemed unsafe, the Education Development and Coordination Unit will arrange for the evaluation to be conducted at an alternative location. "In areas where there are no teachers or where security is a concern, we can relocate the evaluation center," Adhikari explained. "Otherwise, answer sheets will be evaluated on-site at the exam center."

In previous years, evaluation centers were assigned confidentially, and answer sheets from one province were often sent to another for grading. This year, however, evaluations will be conducted at the exam centers themselves.

Traditionally, SEE results have been published around the second week of Asar, but the examination board has faced delays in the past. Late results have caused psychological stress for students and unnecessary pressure from bridge courses. To address this issue, the ministry has decided to discontinue bridge course programs following the SEE.
