The Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) has officially invited applications from eligible engineers seeking registration as Professional Engineer (PEng).
As per the notice published on Chaitra 02, 2082 BS, qualified engineers are invited to apply in accordance with Section 11(2) of the Nepal Engineering Council Act, 2055, Rule 3(b) of the Nepal Engineering Council Rules, 2057 (as amended in 2080), categorization of engineers as per Rule 9, the "Professional Engineers Registration Procedure, 2081" and the Professional Engineers' Registration Working Procedure 2025 (Guidelines for Applicants).
Work Schedule:
- Final Deadline: 2082 Chaitra 22 (Sunday) for submitting the application to the Council along with the recommendation from the first Supporter (Supporter-1) for the minimum eligibility to be registered as Professional Engineer (PEng).
- Final Deadline: 2082 Baisakh 22 (Tuesday) for those candidates who qualify from the preliminary evaluation must submit the Competence Assessment Report along with the recommendation from the second Supporter (Supporter-2) and other required documents as prescribed.
- Information regarding other procedures not mentioned in this schedule will be published separately.
- Application Fee: Rs. 3,000/- Must be deposited in the Nepal Engineering Council's Rastriya Banijya Bank account No. 1160100001093001 (Naxal, Kathmandu branch) and the voucher must be submitted along with the application.
