Comprehensive Support from Skillsup: Empowering Every Participant for Excellence
Behind every great innovation is the right support system. Skillsup is proud to provide a 360-degree foundation for its competitors, ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and mentorship required to shine on the national and international stage.
- Specialized Bootcamp Training : To bridge the gap between curiosity and creation, Skillsup conducted intensive Bootcamp Training sessions. These bootcamps were designed to take students through the entire lifecycle of a project—from ideation and logic building to final execution. This hands-on training ensured that teams didn't just build a project, but understood the "why" and "how" behind every line of code.
- Comprehensive Skillsup Curriculum & Books: Every participating student and school had access to the specialized Skillsup STEAM Books and Curriculum. These resources, developed in collaboration with STEMpedia, USA, provide a structured path into the world of AI, PictoBlox, and Python. The books serve as a permanent reference guide, helping students master 21st-century skills long after the competition ends.
- Qualified Trainers & Mentorship: Success in robotics requires expert guidance. Skillsup deployed a team of Qualified Trainers and industry experts to mentor the participating schools. These mentors provided technical troubleshooting, refined the students' presentation skills, and ensured that projects like MediBot, FuelSafe, and SunSeeker met international standards of logic and safety.
- High-Quality Robotics Resources: Skillsup provided all the necessary Hardware and Robotics Resources required for project development. From Arduino Uno boards and various sensors to advanced motor drivers and AI integrated components, students had access to premium-grade materials to bring their digital designs into the physical world.
- Dedicated Support & Good Services: Beyond technical tools, Skillsup committed to providing Excellent Services throughout the journey. This includes logistical support for schools outside the valley, regular project progress check-ins, and a dedicated helpdesk for technical queries.
Judging & Selection:
The event follows a rigorous and transparent evaluation process to identify the best talent in Nepal. Each project is assessed based on innovation, technical execution, and social impact.
1. Project Submission Basis: Before the exhibition day, all participating teams must complete a formal project submission. This includes- Source Code & Logic: Review of the PictoBlox or Python code used to power the project, Project Video: A short demonstration video explaining the problem the project solves and how it functions and Project Documentation: A brief report detailing the components used (like Arduino, Sensors, etc.) and the inspiration behind the idea.
2. Exhibition Day Evaluation: On February 9th at Anupam Foodland, a panel of expert judges—including industry professionals and tech educators—will visit each stall to evaluate the teams live. The criteria include- Innovation (30%), Technical Skill (30%), Problem Solving (20%), Presentation & Communication (20%).
3. Online Voting (Community Engagement)
