Colleges offering BCA under Indira Gandhi National Open University

Indira Gandhi National Open Universiy (IGNOU) follows the credit System for its Bachelor’s Degree Programme. Each Credit amounts to 30 hours of study comprising all learning activities. To successfully complete this program, you will have to earn 96 credits over a period of 3 to 6 years depending on your convenience. However, you will not be allowed to earn more than 32 credits in a year.

Salient Features

MINIMUM DURATION:

  1. Minimum: 3 YEARS
  2. Maximum:6 YEARS.

EXAMINATION: The examination will be taken by IGNOU through ICA.

ADMISSION SESSION The admission in BCA is taken for July and January session.

ACADEMIC COUNSELING SESSION:

  1.  For few programs Academic Counseling Session is provided for selective subjects only. For further details on Academic Counseling Session do kindly Contact Academic Coordinator at  academic@ica.edu.np .
  2. Practical lab classes will be provided which will be held either in the morning shift or in the evening shift for which 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for Practical TEE.

1. Transcript of SLC, & +2 Level (2 copies each)2. 2 PP size and 2 Auto size Photographs3. For proof of date of Birth one should submit Xerox copy of valid passport / citizenship / driving license (2 copies of any one) (Note: Date of birth should be mention in AD)
