Little Buddha College of Health Science offers the Diploma in Pharmacy program, a practical-oriented three-year course meticulously designed and affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). This program is structured to equip students with the essential practical skills and foundational knowledge required to function as competent mid-level pharmaceutical personnel. The curriculum emphasizes core areas such as basic pharmacology, pharmaceutics (drug preparation and dosage forms), dispensing practices, drug storage and management, patient counseling, and fundamental aspects of community and hospital pharmacy operations.

Students at Little Buddha College benefit from a strong emphasis on hands-on training, facilitated by well-equipped laboratories specifically designed for practical demonstrations and skill development. The institution boasts a dedicated team of experienced instructors and pharmacists who provide direct mentorship and real-world insights. Beyond theoretical instruction, the program integrates compulsory practical sessions, internships, and exposure to various pharmacy settings, ensuring graduates are well-versed in the day-to-day responsibilities of a pharmacy technician. Upon completion, graduates of the Diploma in Pharmacy program are well-prepared for immediate employment opportunities. They can find roles as pharmacy assistants, drug dispensers, and pharmaceutical technicians in community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, drug manufacturing units, and government health posts. The diploma also serves as a foundational step for those aspiring to pursue higher education in pharmaceutical sciences, such as a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, after fulfilling the necessary bridge course and admission criteria, ultimately aiming to cultivate skilled, ethical, and responsible pharmacy professionals dedicated to ensuring safe and effective medication use and contributing to public health services.
