A world today has encountered an explosion of information and knowledge, but does not seem to corresponding growth and development in understanding, internalizing and practicing. People seem to have lose faith in their leaders and institutions. It is a world that has witnessed amazing technologies that connect everyone regardless of their geographical settlings, but disconnect closed ones simultaneously, leaving people dispirited, confusion about knowledge and the meaningfulness of human endeavor.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on every dimensions of the world we know. Faced with such economic complexities, our belief that business practices are needed to create a strong economy, health system, wellbeing and social justice has further reinforced. What businesses can accomplish is influenced by the people who manage businesses.

GCI attempts to respond this call, of talking to the world. As Higher Education Institution, GCI is committed in the journey of discovery and dissemination of knowledge. We aim to inspire and facilitate our students to be innovative and independent intellectuals who become resilient, confident and ethical contributors and leaders. GCI endeavors to create a new generation leaders with a sense of calling.

GCI is founded in 2010 by a group of innovative educators. With glorious academic achievements and records, GCI continues to recognize our students, faculty and staff as an asset in the classroom and in our college community.  We glory in the combination of faculty who are academicians and practitioners/ experts in their respective fields and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience into the classroom. Our students bring to their academic pursuits their lifetime experiences and unique personal journeys to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. We intend to equip students with the capacity to think critically, to question established belief systems and to facilitate them for a wide range of careers.

GCI has been recognized in so many areas including research, internship, placement, networking, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that reflect our commitment to excellence. Consequently, we have been awarded with two Erasmus Projects, co-funded by the European Union. We take pride in claiming that we are the only private college in Nepal to be honored with such prestigious projects. This is the acknowledgement of our credibility in the field of education and desire to extend our academic activities in international arena.
