Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture program, applicants must meet the following academic and language qualifications:

Academic Qualifications

  • Nepal Education Board (NEB):
    Completion of 10+2 in any stream with a minimum overall score of 55% (equivalent to 2.4 GPA on a 4.0 scale) and a minimum grade of D or above in each subject. If NEB revises its grading system, the minimum passing grade defined by NEB will apply.
  • Cambridge International (IGCSE/A Levels):
    A minimum of 2 ‘A’ Level passes with grades A to C, or 3 ‘A’ Level passes with grades D or above.
  • Indian CBSE/ISC:
    Successful completion of Year 12 with a minimum overall score of 60%.

Mathematics / Computer Science Requirements

Applicants must satisfy one of the following:

  • SEE Mathematics with at least 50% (Grade C+ or above).
  • NEB Year 12 Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Business Mathematics with a minimum of 50% (Grade C+ or above).
  • NEB Year 12 Computer Science with at least 60% (Grade B or above).
  • Indian CBSE/ISC Mathematics with at least 55%, or Computer Science with at least 65%.

English Language Requirements

Applicants must fulfill one of the following:

  • NEB Year 12 English with a minimum score of 50% (Grade C+ or above), or Indian CBSE/ISC English with at least 55%.
  • General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E or above.
  • Completion of Level 3 or higher in an English-instructed and assessed program.
  • IELTS overall score of 6.0, with no sub-band below 5.5.
  • ELLT overall score of 6, with no component below 5.

Equivalent English language qualifications and recognized international tests are also accepted.
