ABOUT
Chitwan Medical College (CMC) was established on 20th June 2006 as a result of incessant and untiring efforts of a highly experienced and motivated group of health professionals, who gave their body and soul to see that it came into being. It is affiliated with the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, the pioneer Institute in the field of production of human resources in health. It is also recognized by all related councils in Nepal, the Nepal Nursing Council, the Nepal Medical Council, the Nepal Health Professional Council, and the Nepal Pharmacy Council.
The teaching hospital of the CMC (Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital), operating now with 750 beds and providing all modern medical services with most advanced diagnostic facilities to patient’s satisfaction, is the reflection of our firm commitment to provide quality health services to people at affordable price and save them from the trouble of seeking the similar medical help from the Capital and/or from the SAARC countries.
CMC is being managed by highly qualified and reputed experts in the field of medicine, nursing, management, and finance. Presently, we are offering in total 11 programs. In Bachelor Level 8 Programs: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Generic BSc Nursing (BSc Nursing), Post-Basic Bachelor of Nursing (BN), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Bachelor in Public Health (BPH), Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging technology(BSc MIT), Bachelor in Medical Laboratory and Technology (BMLT). In Master's Level 3 Programs: Master of Nursing (MN), Master in Public Health (MPH), and MSc Clinical Microbiology.
