Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Office of the Dean has published an entrance examination notice for new admission to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) program for the academic session 2082).

ELIGIBILITY:

The entry requirement for students in the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is: 

  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE Computer/Electronics/Information Technology/Software)
  • Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
  • Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc.CSIT)
  • Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
  • Bachelor of Education in Information and Communication Technology (Bed. ICT/BICT)

Completed the Bachelor's Degree with a minimum B (2.7) grade (as defined in the grading system for BCA, TU, FOHSS, or equivalent) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. or
Minimum score of 45 percent (for annual system) in Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree.

ADMISSION DETAILS

  • Online Entrance Application Form: 1 February – 15 February 2026 (18 Magh-3 Falgun 2082 BS)
  • Online Entrance Application Form in Double Fees: 16 - 18 February (4 -6 Falgun, 2082 BS)
  • Entrance Examination Fee: Rs. 2,500/- (Two Thousand Five Hundred Only). Students should pay online through e-Sewa or Khalti when filling out the application form. The deposited amount cannot be refunded.
  • Entrance Examination (Written): 21 February 2026 (9 Falgun 2082 BS)
  • Entrance Exam Time: 8:30 AM
  • Exam Center: MCA Entrance Exam Center
  • Entrance Result: 22 February 2026 (10 Falgun 2082 BS)
