Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dean's Office, has extended the application deadline for the entrance examination of the BSW program, a four-year Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program under the semester system for the academic year 2025, with a revised date for the entrance examination.

  • Application Deadline with Double Fee: November 27, 2025- November 28, 2025 ( 11 to 12 Mangsir 2082 B.S)

  • Entrance Exam Date: Mangsir 13, 2082 (November 29, 2025)

Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dean's Office, has officially announced the opening of admissions for its four-year Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program for the 2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

The university has specified distinct eligibility requirements for students based on their Grade 12 completion year:

  • For students who passed Grade 12 in 2079 B.S.: Applicants must have a minimum D grade in every subject in grades 11 and 12, with a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of at least 1.8 or more, or a minimum score of second division in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent level in any discipline is acceptable.
  • For students who passed Grade 12 before 2079 B.S.: Candidates are required to have a minimum grade of D+ in each subject of Grades 11 and 12, with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Or a minimum of a second division score in 10+2, PCL, or an equivalent level in any discipline.

  • Application Deadline with Normal Fee: September 16, 2025 - November 2, 2025 (Bhadra 31 - Kartik 16,2082)
  • Application Deadline with Double Fee: November 3, 2025- November 5, 2025 ( 17 to -18 Kartik 2082 B.S)
  • Entrance Examination Fee: Rs. 1500
  • Entrance Exam Date: Kartik 22, 2085 (November 8, 2025)
  • Entrance Exam Time: 11:00 AM- 1: 00 PM
